The AHES Mentoring Committee will hold the first AHES Speed Mentoring Workshop for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) and Mid-Career Researchers (MCRs) through an online forum. The first workshop will include the following sessions:
- Dr Michelle Cunich on "Getting the most out of the Mentor:Mentee relationship"
- Prof Stephen Jan on "Career progression for ECR and MCRs"
- A/Prof Tracey Laba on "Transitioning from ECR to MCR"
In addition there will be five breakout sessions, where mentees will be broken up into groups with a more experienced health economist and given the opportunity to ask questions/discuss in a 'speed mentoring' type format. The workshop will end with a group feedback session, where next steps for the mentoring program will be discussed.
This session will run on the 30th of July 2020 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and will be free for all AHES members. Details on how to access the online workshop will be sent out to registrants prior to the workshop.
However, registration will be essential. Please register through this link.
